Some vape devices work better when the coil is replaced regularly. The coil heats the e-liquid and produces vapour, so it plays a big part in how the vape tastes and feels. VGOD vapes follow a similar method to others when it comes to changing coils.
This article shows simple steps to follow when switching out an old coil for a new one.
Gather the basics:
To change the coil, you will want your VGod vape device, a new coil that fits your model, some paper towel or tissue, and e-liquid. Ensure the device is turned off and cool before starting. It’s easier to do this over a clean surface with good lighting.
Know when to change the coil:
One sign that a coil might want changing is a burnt taste. You might also notice less vapour or a tighter draw than usual. If the flavour starts to feel flat or harsh, it’s likely time to replace the coil. A fresh coil often brings back a cleaner taste and smoother performance.
Take the device apart:
Unscrew the tank from the battery section. Once the tank is off, twist it open to reach the coil inside. The coil usually sits in the base and comes out by turning it counterclockwise. If there is any liquid left, you might want to empty it or work over a tissue to avoid spills.
Prime the new coil:
Before installing the new coil, add a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton parts of the coil. This step helps prevent a dry hit when you first start vaping again. Once the cotton is damp, screw the coil into place and reassemble the tank.
Refill and wait:
Fill the tank with e-liquid, and then let it sit for five to ten minutes. This allows the new coil to soak fully before you use the device again. Pressing the fire button too early could cause a burnt taste, so it’s better to wait a bit.
Start at a lower setting:
Once everything is ready, take a few light draws without pressing the button. Then, if your device has adjustable settings, start on a lower wattage before increasing slowly. This allows the coil to warm up gently and settle in.
